It was a hot and humid morning for Delhiites Thursday as the rainclouds disappeared from the sky and the maximum humidity reached 97 percent. The weather office predicted rain later in the day.

'There is a chance of light rains or thundershowers in parts of capital in the evening,' said an official of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).
