    Student leader shot dead in Agra

    A university student's union leader and a member of the Samajwadi Party was Sunday afternoon shot dead by unidentified assailants here, police said.

    Police said more than 15 bullets were fired at Shiv Raj Choudhary. Eyewitnesses told police that the armed assailants had come in a car and stopped Choudhary, who was riding a motorcycle.

    Police said some suspects have been identified and efforts were being made to arrest them.

    Samajwadi Party workers and leaders reached the Pushpanjali Hospital to express grief.

    Choudhary was a property broker by profession.
