    (IANS)

Thieves broke into the sealed house of kidney racket kingpin Amit Kumar here in Haryana for the fourth time and fled with a few abandoned items while one of them was caught by locals, police said Friday.

'Four thieves managed to break into the doctor's Sector-23 house after midnight Thursday. Locals caught them but they stabbed one of the residents and managed to flee. However, one of them identified as Ahim was caught and handed over to the police,' Palam Vihar police station in-charge Ved Prakash said.

A local, identified as Sunil Gupta, sustained injuries and has been admitted to the Columbia Hospital in Gurgaon.

According to the police, this was the fourth time when thieves broke into this house sealed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

Kumar, whose real name is Sanjay Raut, was arrested in Nepal in February 2008 after exposure of the racket running into crores of rupees about illegal kidney transplantation surgeries performed by him and others. He is also accused of securing passports from the regional passport office in the capital on fake identity in 1997.
