    (IANS)

German coach Markus Weise Tuesday said they are not worried who they will face in the semifinals of the Hockey World Cup.

'This is the World Cup. We can't be bothered about the opponents. I don't care who we face in the semis,' Weise said after defending champions Germany won 5-2 against New Zealand in their last Pool B match to qualify for the semis.

Weise said despite the result, it was a close match.

'It was tough match for us. We were up by a comfortable margin but they gave us a scare by scoring two quick goals in a space of three minutes,' he said.

German captain Maximillian Muller said the Black Sticks gave them a tough fight.

'There were phases when we had total control on the game. The tempo of the game was not so high but New Zealand were good and gave us a tough fight.'

New Zealand captain Dean Couzins said he is happy the way they challenged the Germans till the last minute.

'They are a top team, but the way we challenged them was really good on our part. We missed some key players in this World Cup, but despite that the way we played will surely boost the youngsters,' he said.
