    Tuesday 9th March, 2010
    (IANS)

A 19-year-old girl, who was preparing for her Pre-Medical Test, committed suicide by consuming poison in her Civil Lines house here, police said Tuesday.

'We got a call Monday night that Neha consumed poison at her residence. She was rushed to Paras Hospital and was declared dead Tuesday morning,' investigating officer Vijendra Singh said.

Neha lived with her family in Sector 15 in Civil Lines here. Her father is posted in the commerce ministry.

'She was not depressed and preparing well for her exam. We don't find any reason except that she was keeping unwell the past few days. Might be she consumed pesticides by mistake,' a family member told police in a statement.
