    India Gazette
    Tuesday 9th March, 2010
    (IANS)

Four people, including a man convicted for killing a police constable, were arrested with three locally made revolvers from a Gujarat village Tuesday, authorities said.

'Hayat Dafer, who had been sentenced to 10 years' imprisonment for killing a police constable in Bhavnagar in 2004, had jumped his furlough in 2008 and was arrested from a village near here,' Inspector J.P. Raol said.

'Hayat and his three other accomplices are involved in numerous highway robbery cases,' he said.
