    (IANS)

The central paramilitary Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), deployed along the India-China border, is training its first para-gliding team to participate in sporting events in the country and abroad.

'We are raising a specialised team at Kullu in Himachal Pradesh. These men are selected from the various battalions and would soon complete their training,' an ITBP official said here Monday.

'The team is being raised only for sports activities,' the official added.
