    (IANS)

An Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) trooper shot dead a colleague after a heated argument in Bhilai town of Chhattisgarh, police said Saturday.

The killing took place late Friday in the town's Sector-3 area.

Deepchand Bahuguna, 35, a resident of Almora in Uttarakhand, has been arrested for killing Sharad B. Satyen, 24, of Kerala, following a row, Durg district Additional Superintendent of Police M.L. Kotwani said.

Bahuguna pumped at least six bullets into Satyen's body. He succumbed to injuries on his way to Bhilai Hospital.

Both men stayed with dozens of ITBP colleagues at the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) hostel in Bhilai, 30 km from here.
