Learning Tree workshop held at NWC
POWELL - Preregistration by Oct. 20 is required for a Project W.I.L.D./Project Learning Tree workshop to be held Oct. 28 at Northwest College's Science & Mathematics Building, Room 104.

The workshop will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a half-hour lunch break on one's own. There is a fee of $10 payable to Powell Valley Community Education.

Project Learning Tree is an environmental education program offered to assist informal educators of pre-kindergarten through eighth grade students.

Participants who stay for the entire class will receive a copy of the 402-page Project Learning Tree PreK-8 Activity Guide along with instruction on how to use the guide and demonstrations of a few of the many activities it contains.
