    Friday 9th May, 2008
    (IANS)

A female leopard was caught and caged in Uttar Pradesh's Bahraich district Friday after it attacked and injured three people.

It took over 10 hours for forest officials to trap the animal.

'After attacking the three people, the leopard hid herself in a house and was trapped after hectic efforts by our officials,' Bahraich Divisional Forest Officer Rajesh Pandey told IANS.

He said the leopard would soon be sent to a zoo.
