    Equities markets open at a loss again

    Mumbai May 9 (IANS) The Indian equities markets opened in the negative zone Friday, tracking weak markets elsewhere in Asia.

    The 30-share benchmark index of the Bombay Stock Exchange, the Sensex, opened with a loss of 57.16 points at 17,020.79.

    The S&P Nifty index of the National Stock Exchange opened at 5,070.85 points with a loss of nearly 11 points.
