    India Gazette
    Thursday 27th March, 2008
    (IANS)

Three mutilated bodies were found in the fast flowing Chenab river in Himachal Pradesh's Lahaul valley, the police said Thursday.

'We have fished out three bodies from the Chenab near Rambag but have not been able to identify them so far,' said Dewan Singh, a police official who found the bodies.

The police suspect the bodies could be of the missing passengers of a jeep that fell into the icy river some 450 km from the state capital here a few days ago.
