Woman caught with marijuana

BRATTLEBORO – Brattleboro police took a Londonderry woman into custody on Wednesday because she was caught with marijuana at the local corrections office, according to a statement released Saturday.
Police said that Debra L. Whippie, 41, was charged with criminal contempt of court, as drug possession is a violation of her probation. She was processed and returned to the custody of the probation and parole office; she was cited to answer the charge in court at a later date.
