    India Gazette
    Tuesday 13th May, 2008

China Eastern Airlines had to cancel all flights to the southwestern Sichuan provincial capital of Chengdu on Monday, after an earthquake hit the region.

CEA is still operating back-up flights to help move disaster relief supplies and workers.

The company has informed its passengers of the cancelled flights and says the airliner will now prioritise transportation of relief goods and staff.
