Celina Jaitley upset over "cheap, nasty comments" from Pak cricketers last weekend

Islamabad, Mar 27 : Bollywood actor Celina Jaitely has taken a strong exception to the "cheap nasty comments" passed on her by some unidentified Pakistani cricketers during an Indian Cricket League (ICL) match in New Delhi last weekend.

She declined to reveal the exact comments.

"I don't even recognise any of them, and it is a bit upsetting. But I am trying to get over it. Some of the remarks were in really bad taste. I didn't expect this from cricketers. The comments came out of the blue. It was an unfortunate incident. Maybe it happened to me because I am an actress. I am trying to forget everything now," the Daily Times quoted her as saying in New Delhi.

She said she could not identify the players because security guards surrounded her, but the organisers had told her they were Pakistani cricketers.

But some less abrasive comments she heard included, "Move her away, she is spoiling the mood of the entire match," and "Why does she need such heavy security? Is she Osama Bin Laden?"

Born in Kabul, Celina has an Indian Punjabi father, a retired army officer, and an Afghan mother, a child psychologist.
